It took me one whole week to get accustomed to the pleasure of having every child at home for the summer holidays. Initially it was exhaaaausting as we organised ourselves into a happy routine and worked hard at reacquainting one with the other.

Lachlan and Annabelle have a steady morning schedule of working through their Kumon maths and english textbooks, as well as journal writing, sketching, music practice, craft, computer time and so on. And the person who reads the most novels will win a grand prize of $10,000 pesos at the end of the holidays!

My enjoyment of this intense period of life soars every time I see my children taking pleasure in the simple things. Together.

I am already dreading starting school after the holiday break!
We homeschool so my kids are always home......but it is so nice to do our own thing instead of having school rule the schedule:)
Merry Christmas!
